NJ Slide Jam - 7/21/09

The New Jersey Slide Jam was this sunday 30+ riders from the beast coast competing in the soft and hard wheel divisions. It was a great day of riding, with every competitor skating hard and pushing each other to do their best.

Nelson Longboards was reperesented well with two podium placements, Tea Rider Joe Foley taking 4th in the hard wheeled division on an early version of the Phoenix Hybrid, and Owner/Builder Rich Nelson taking 3rd in the soft wheeled division on a custom dropthrough (42"x10.5" W-concave). Also with a strong showing, EarthWing skateboards with 3 of the top 5 in the hard wheeled division.

The event went off without a hitch thanks to Anton for organizing it, thanks to the neighbors for not calling the cops, and to Jenelle for the sweet photos, as well as all of the sponsers, Sundae skates, Gravity, Bustin, Night, Earthwing, and Nelson Longboards.
